*Warm-up Format

Loser of coin toss will take court first for all warm-ups.  Remember that there should be no ball handling done while the other team has the court.

 * Note: Please be sure to check for officiating duties after a loss in play-offs!

 

Trophies will be awarded to the 1st place teams in each division

                                   

Matches – LIBERO CAN SERVE

Pool Play: 2 Sets to 25 (no cap)

* Please note we will NOT play a third set in pool play; 3 points will be awarded each match (1 per set won, and the 3rd for the largest point difference)

Play-offs: 1st and 2nd Place teams from each pool advance to the Gold Division, 3rd and 4th Place teams advance to the Silver Division.  2 out of 3 sets (25, 25, 15; win by 2; no cap)                 *Do not switch at 8 points.      

               *Seeding will be determined by (A) Pool Points (explained above); (B) Point Differential; (C) Coin Toss

 

Officiating/Scoring - Each team must provide an up and down official (the up official must be the coach), 2 line judges, and 2 scorekeepers when they are scheduled to officiate.

 

Balls - Please bring your own warm-up volleyballs.  Balls will NOT be provided.  Warming-up is allowed ONLY in the fieldhouse.  The 12s will be using the VolleyLites and the 12s will be allowed to take one step over the serving line (one foot must start behind the serving line).

 

Concessions will be provided ~ we ask that NO OUTSIDE food be brought in ~ thank you for respecting this policy.

 

There will NOT be a trainer on site – please be sure to bring your own first aid kit.

 

There is an admission’s fee at the door - $3/adult, $1/child, children 5 and under are free.

 

*Gym opens at 7:20 a.m.  There will be no coaches meeting - please check in at the tournament table when you arrive.  Any changes to the tournament schedule will take place at 7:45 a.m.

 

T-shirts will also be on sale – $13
