Pool Play2 sets to 25. Cap @ 27
Libero can serve.
Play everything on the side of your court. If you step on the other pools court it is considered a “side out” –play anything that hits over head and is on YOUR side if you have a hit remaining.
Leave sheets @ scoring desk. COMPLETE sheets by listing winning team each set.
POINT SYSTEM: If your team wins both sets, your team will get 3 points. If you split, the team who scored the most points between the two sets will get the 2nd point. (clarification/example: Team A 25 – Team B 17 1st set. Team A 18 – Team B 25 2nd set. Team “A” will get the 2points because they scored one more point than team “B” in the 2nd set) (** a true tie will result in a 1.5 each team)
Reffing Team – Designate one team “heads” the other “tails” on the coin flip. ASK serve, receive or side to winner.
Please start first round of warm ups promptly @ 7:45 2 mins shared, 4minutes hit/serve 4 minutes hit/serve
**first two rounds follow above time. –There after 4mins for each team to hit/serve. Please be punctual!
Bracket Play: Top two teams in each pool will be in one division , teams that place 3rd & 4th will be in the other division. Bracket play will begin immediately after pool play. PLEASE check boards on site to see if you play or ref accordingly.
Bracket Play: Best 2 out of 3. If a deciding game is needed, play to 15 cap @ 20. (no switching @ 8)
